1. BIODES 500 PROF is a clear liquid with slight chlorine smell; its main active ingredients are highly active oxygen compounds of chlorine (ClO2, НСlO, NaCIO, HClO2, NaClO2, etc).
2. Prepared BIODES 500 PROF solutions must be stored in sealed containers made of inert materials (glass, nylon, plastic or enamelled) with tightly closing or threaded lids, in a place protected against sunlight and in temperatures of 0-40°C for 36 months after manufacture.
3. BIODES 500 PROF complies with the standards of safety and effectiveness of disinfecting agents and corresponding to the requirements of Sanitary Rules and Standards No. 21-112-9, does not have a toxic effect on the body and belongs among low-hazard chemical compounds (hazard class 4 pursuant to GOST 12.1.007-76). It is not irritant to skin and is mildly irritant to mucous membranes of upper respiratory tracts and eyes.
4. BIODES 500 PROF has bactericidal, tuberculocidal, virucidal and fungicidal properties. It is effective against viruses and fungi in a concentration of 250 ± 50 mg/dm3.
The surfaces in premises (floor, walls), the surfaces of instruments, apparatus, furniture, cleaning supplies, sanitary equipment (sinks, bathtubs, urinals, heating elements, lighting fixtures, ventilation grilles) are uniformly cleaned with BIODES 500 PROF, wiping two times using a soaked cloth, with an interval of 15 minutes. BIODES 500 PROF can be diluted at 1:5 for that. In everyday cleaning, the equipment and surfaces of toilets, showers stalls, wardrobes, passages, benches, door handles, handrails, carpets, etc. are disinfected with BIODES 500 PROF adding water by 5-6 litres to 100-150 ml of the product. But it is better and more effective to use a cold mist generator with a short duration of filling the premises with the mist after the cleaning. For that, a solution with the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 can be used. General leaning of all premises followed by disinfection must be performed at least once a month. After draining a bathtub and performing a mechanical scrubbing, the bathtub is disinfected using BIODES 500 PROF with the ratio of 1:2 -1:5, utilising a cold mist generator or a spray atomiser.
Technical properties of BIODEZ 500 PROF
BIODES 500 PROF is an antimicrobial cleaning solution, the chemical properties of which prevent microorganisms from becoming resistant to it. This allows using BIODES 500 PROF as a disinfecting solution.
BIODES 500 PROF is a disinfecting agent (working solution) simple to prepare on-site in the required quantity.
The shelf life of BIODES 500 PROF while retaining its disinfecting properties is 36 months.
BIODES 500 PROF as a disinfecting solution can replace more than 90% of all disinfecting agents used in medical and healthcare institutions, while also ensuring a high level of disinfection.
BIODES 500 PROF is first and foremost an effective disinfecting agent. This solution is capable of destroying various viruses, bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. Regardless of the frequency and duration of using it, bacteria will not become resistant to it; BIODES 500 PROF meets the established requirements for disinfecting agents. The disinfecting agent has good antibacterial and antifungal properties as well as low cost. This disinfecting solution can be and must be used in places of presence (congregation) of people and animals, as its low level of toxicity makes it possible to perform a disinfecting routine while the people and animals are present; this is an advantage over other solutions used for disinfection. BIODES 500 PROF is absolutely safe, ecologically clean and fully biodegradable.
BIODES 500 PROF also has the properties of a cleaning agent, for washing and decontaminating any items in the premises. The high sporicidal properties of the disinfecting agent permit its usage to sterilise centres of infectious diseases.
BIODES 500 PROF, being synthesised by electrolysis, is not toxic (belonging to the IV class of low-hazard compounds and to the V class of practically non-toxic substances pursuant to the classification of K. K. Sidorov (DL50 in abdominal cavity in more than 1,000 mg/kg)), as no harmful impact on the surrounding environment, and relaxes in time with the formation of a sodium chloride solution in water and the emission of oxygen; there is no toxicity for flora and fauna. The product can be used in the presence of people with all methods of usage – wiping, submerging, soaking and spraying.
BIODES 500 PROF has a wide-range antimicrobial effect, i.e. it effectively destroys bacteria, vireo, fungi and spores regardless of the duration and frequency of using it; which requires it to have properties preventing microorganisms from becoming resistant to it;
BIODES 500 PROF is safe for people and animals both during its preparation and use and after its purposeful application, i.e. during the period of degrading and destructive changes under the influence of environmental factors or the processes of biodegradation in the human body; in other words, the antimicrobial agent and the products of its natural or artificial degradation do not contain any xenobiotics;
BIODES 500 PROF has a universal effect i.e. it not only has antimicrobial properties but also acts as a cleaning agent and is maximally simple to use while also being very affordable.
BIODES 500 PROF has high sporicidal properties (ensuring sterilisation) and as such, is used against infections of bacterial (including tuberculosis), viral (including all forms of hepatitis) and fungal aetiology, without causing the microorganisms to become resistant to it.
The use of BIODES 500 PROF enables to ensure ideal sanitary-epidemiology regime in enterprises for food processing. In particular, BIODES 500 PROF is used for the sterilisation of packaging containers before filling them with the production. At fish processing plants, BIODES 500 PROF is used not only as solutions but also as ice in the technological process, simultaneously for an increase of the production’s shelf life and for decontamination against pathogenic microorganisms, including Listeria, etc. At dairy kitchens and small enterprises of the dairy industry, BIODES 500 PROF is used for sanitary treatment of equipment, inventory and containers in the production of dairy baby food. BIODES 500 PROF is also used for disinfection of meat processing equipment, etc.
BIODES 500 PROF is successfully being used in community services (hospitals, dormitories, hair salons, saunas, laundries, sanitation stations, etc.), in public catering enterprises, at food markets, in educational institutions and more.

Using BIODEZ 500 PROF
The most widely used and economical method of using BIODES 500 PROF:
aerosol spray of the solution for disinfection; with that, the active ingredient spreads quickly into the entire volume of the room, creating an atmosphere free of pathogenic microbiota. What’s more, when rendering the product into an aerosol, its specific surface area increases. An atomised substance has thousands of times more surface area than a liquid and this results in increasing the disinfecting agent’s effectiveness.

Chlorinating pool water with BIODES 500 PROF, as with any other chlorine-containing agent, must be based on a preliminary determination of the chlorine absorption capacity, a calculation of the working dose of the anolite to be entered into the pool water, and a determination of the concentration of residual chlorine in the water. A constant concentration of residual chlorine must be retained at the level of 0.3 – 0.5 mg/l in a sports pool and at the level of 0.5 – 0.7 mg/l in other pools. In pools for children aged 1-6 years, the permitted concentration of residual chlorine in water is 0.1 – 0.3 mg/l if there are no coliphages in the water.
During the use of a pool, BIODES 500 PROF is added to the water circulation system constantly or periodically using an ejector connected to a collection tank
